Humidity Indicator Plugs

Color change humidity indicator plugs are the solution to a wide range of military and commercial packaging requirements. Mounted through a container wall, the color change plug reliably measures relative humidity levels with accuracy to within 5%. Available in a variety of sizes and specifications, these humidity indicator plugs are designed to be simple cost-effective and reliable. 

Plugs are available in aluminum or brass or plastic type. Clear anodizing and zinc plating are standard, but custom finishes are also available per customer specifications. Our plugs readily detect any change in RH of a sealed package. A large, clear, viewing window allows for easy reading.

Easily installed with hand tools, these plugs are compatible with equipment and electrical housings as well as most flexible barriers including: plastic bags and fiber drums. They provide a simple, cost-effective alternative to electrical and mechanical types of humidity indication units.
